Greenfinder

Greenfinder is a central repository for all things green. The brief for the project was to freshen up a previous design and develop a flexible CMS.

Well the initial design was ok, but needed a little love and some attention to detail. So a gentle approach to the design was taken as the client was fairly happy with the previous design by another company. However, it lacked definition and was just an average design.

The branding was already in place so I had to work with it and focus on areas that I could make a difference, such as custom icons, subtle shading and good use of whitespace. The client has been delighted throughout the project and that is testament to the effect that my work has had.

The backend of the site was developed using the fantastic Symphony Web Publishing System. This allowed me to create the flexibility that the client was after as well as giving them a very usable interface.
